* Pretend to be lost.
* Ask for the time or directions.
* Pretend you know the person being harassed.
* Talk to them about something random and take the attention off of the harasser.
* Get in the way. Physically stand between the aggressor and the victim. (Turning so you can see BOTH parties.)

* Get help/assistance/resources from someone who is nearby.
* Find the store manager, supervisor, teacher, principal and ask them to intervene.
DELAY:
* Check in with the person being harassed.
* Ask them if they’re okay and tell them you’re sorry that happened to them
* Ask them if there’s any way you can support them.
DOCUMENT:
* IF you are safe, record the situation.
* Give the recording to the victim.
* Never post anything or use it without their permission.
DIRECT:
* IF you feel safe, speak up.
* Confront the aggressor.
* Be firm, clear, and concise.
* Say:
“That’s Inappropriate, disrespectful, not okay, unacceptable!”
“That is racist!”
